Debunking False News: Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla Did Get Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla Receives COVID-19 Vaccine - Debunking False News

Recently, a false news has been circulating in Brazil that the CEO of Pfizer, Albert Bourla, did not get vaccinated against COVID-19. This claim is completely unfounded and has been debunked by several independent fact-checking organizations.

The false news alleged that Bourla canceled a trip to Israel because he was not fully vaccinated. However, the trip was canceled in March 2021 when vaccines were not widely available. At that time, Bourla had only received one of the two doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

Bourla has publicly made it clear that he and other Pfizer executives would not jump the queue to receive the company's vaccine. He stated that he was eager to be vaccinated as soon as possible, once his turn came. In fact, in March 2021, he was fully vaccinated and posted a photo on his social media receiving the second dose of the vaccine.

The COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. They have been extensively tested and are being administered worldwide. The CEO of Pfizer is a staunch advocate of COVID-19 vaccination.

Therefore, do not believe false news that claims the Pfizer CEO did not get vaccinated. He was fully vaccinated in the first stage of two doses in March 2021 and took the COVID-19 vaccine booster shots.
